Boeing has selected Asian Composite Manufacturing (ACM) to provide the elevator and rudder-machined honeycomb core for Boeing’s 777 airplane. The contract was awarded based on ACM’s capacity and capability to complete the work on schedule and its reliability as a supplier and cost effective producer. Hawker de Havilland (HdH), a Boeing subsidiary, headquartered in Port Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, is the Boeing integrator for the 777 elevator and rudder. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
