United Airlines reports January traffic down 11%

United Airlines reported its preliminary consolidated traffic results for January 2009. The company reported a January consolidated passenger load factor of 75.2%. Consolidated traffic decreased in January by 10.9% on a consolidated capacity decrease of 10.5% compared with the same period in 2008.
