Skyways Aviation arranges deal for five ERJ 145s

Acting on behalf of Chautauqua Airlines of the U.S., Skyways Aviation announced the delivery of the first of five ERJ 145s to AeroMexico Connect. The first aircraft (serial number 145128, reg. N260SK) was delivered on 12th March 2009. In this latest deal, AeroMexico Connect signed up for five aircraft on long term dry leases and the airline will take delivery at a rate of one a month during the first half of 2009. The fleet expansion is due to a general downsizing of larger narrowbody jets at AeroMexico to smaller more efficient jets.
