Goodrich Alabama receives Boeing approval to provide additional MRO service

Goodrich Corporation’s Alabama Service Center has received approval from The Boeing Company to provide overheat service bulletin inspections and modifications for Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. The service bulletin, known as SB1079, outlines instructions for inspection of the aircraft’s CFM-56-7 engine thrust reverser inner walls as well as insulation blankets; work will include checking for signs of heat damage and correcting potential heat-related issues.
