Lufthansa Technik Sofia opens second maintenance line

Lufthansa Technik Sofia has launched its second line for base maintenance services for Boeing and Airbus aircraft types with the arrival of an Airbus A320 of Ural Airlines. Lufthansa Technik Sofia, a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG (80%) and Bulgarian Aviation Group (20%) was opened in October 2008 and has already successfully accomplished two IL2-checks on Airbus A321 from Lufthansa. The third one will be finalized in the coming days. From July on Lufthansa Technik Sofia will include in its portfolio maintenance services for Boeing 737 Classic and Next Generation.
