Alaska Air Group reported April operational results for its subsidiaries, Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. Alaska reported an increase in load factor to 78.9% in April 2009, compared to 76.9% in April 2008, on an 8.3% decline in available seat miles compared to the prior-year period.
Horizon reported a load factor of 69.2% in April 2009, which is unchanged from April 2008, on a 13.1% decline in capacity and a 13.1% decline in traffic compared to the prior-year period.
