Aircraft End-of-Life Solutions (AELS) is offering the aviation industry an environmentally friendly solution in cooperation with Recylux near Maastricht Aachen Airport. AELS will provide aviation maintenance companies with a guaranteed destruction of, and optimal revenue from unsalvageable components. This process with maximum green recycling of materials is named MRO End-of-Life. The unique process of the MRO End-of-Life service has been developed during the last few months by AELS in cooperation with potential customers such as Hamilton Sundstrand and Fokker Services. The process encompasses everything from the quarantine area of the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility to the final destruction of the component and the recycling of the materials. Due to the technology and knowledge developed by AELS on the field of recycling of complete aircraft, the recycling of components is estimated to improve with 25% to 40% in comparison to existing processes.
