Virgin Atlantic commits to ten new Airbus A330 aircraft

British based Virgin Atlantic Airways, has signed a firm contract to buy six Airbus A330-300 long-range aircraft, and is leasing a further four from AerCap. Deliveries are scheduled for 2011 and 2012. Virgin Atlantic has not yet selected the engine type.
