PATS Aircraft, has received US FAA Supplemental Type Certification for the Hemisphere 200XR auxiliary fuel system. The
auxiliary fuel system meets all federal aviation regulations, including SFAR 88. Based on the venerable CRJ-200 platform, the Hemisphere 200XR is a conversion program in cooperation with Georgetown, Delaware-based completion specialists PATS Aircraft. The Hemisphere 200XR project was developed jointly in 2006 by Tailwind and its investment partner, Global Principal Finance Co. LLC. The first Hemisphere 200XR will be delivered later this month, with additional aircraft available in the 3rd and 4th quarters of this year.
The Hemisphere 200XR is an ultra-large cabin, customizable private jet that offers a unique combination of affordability, timely delivery and the highest standards of luxury. The aircraft is expertly converted from well-maintained, low-time Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft. Each Hemisphere 200XR features a comprehensive avionics suite, an exceptional service record and is current on inspections and airworthiness directives. Additionally, the PATS auxiliary fuel system allows for a range of up to 3,000 nm.
