Skyways Aviation arranges MD83

On behalf of A.P. Finance Ltd, Skyways Aviation has arranged the purchase of one MD83 aircraft from the AERCO portfolio through portfolio manager AerCap of the Netherlands. Serial number 49627 was delivered on Tuesday 14th July 2009 and the aircraft will be leased on to specialist wet-lease operator SkyWings Airlines of Greece. Skyways Aviation sourced the first aircraft acquired by SkyWings when it commenced operations in 2005, and the airline now operates a fleet of three MD80 aircraft on ACMI contracts primarily in Europe.
