US Airways Group announced July traffic results. Mainline traffic for the month was down 4.3% versus July 2008, capacity was down 5.7% versus July 2008 and the load factor for the month of July was a record 86.4%, up 1.3 points versus July 2008.

Ryanair announced that its passenger traffic grew by 19% in July 2009 to 6.7million passengers, this resulted in a load factor of 89%, the same as in July 2008.
BA reported that capacity for July 2009 was 2.7% below July 2008, traffic rose by 1.0% and the passenger load factor increased 3.1 points versus last year, to 84.6%. Traffic comprised an 11.0% decrease in premium traffic and a 3.5% increase in non-premium traffic.
