The national Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates (GCAA) has expanded the certification priviledges of Direct Maintenance. The new UAE GCAA approval authorised Direct Maintenance to perform line maintenance and certify its work at the following locations and types, for aircraft registered in the United Arab Emirates :
ADD : A330, A340-300, B777-200/300 and B777-200LRF
AMS : B777-200LRF
TIP : A330 and A340-300
Direct Maintenance is content with its new approval, which illustrated the high standards that are applied, allowing amongst others to follow its UAE client airline Emirates in its further development.
