AirVolga to launch Bombardier CRJ200 regional jet service in Russia

Bombardier Aerospace welcomes AirVolga (Volga AviaExpress) of Volgograd, Russia to the CRJ aircraft family. At a press conference in Volgograd, the airline announced that it is preparing to start service with two previously owned CRJ200 LR regional jets acquired from a third party. AirVolga has stated that the CRJ200 LR aircraft are part of a strategy to modernize its fleet, and that they may acquire additional previously owned Bombardier 50-seat regional jets.
