Lufthansa reports 2009 net loss of EUR 112 million

Lufthansa Group generated revenue of EUR 22.3 billion according to preliminary figures, around 10% less than the previous year (EUR 24.8 billion). The Group achieved its target of earning an operating profit, reaching a figure of EUR 130 million (previous year: EUR 1.3 billion). The net loss for the period came to EUR 112 million (previous year: net profit of EUR 542 million). Last year’s figures have been restated in line with measurement changes required by IFRIC 13.
