StandardAero to reopen engine shop at its Springfield, Ill. service center

StandardAero will reopen the engine shop at its Springfield, Ill, service center (SPI). It will be operational in the third quarter of 2010. At 225,000 square feet, Springfield is the largest Business Aviation shop and services a significant volume of TFE731-powered aircraft. Initially, the shop will be capable of providing major periodic inspections (MPIs) for TFE731 engines.
