Chromalloy will provide Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey with inspections, repairs, modifications and overhaul on PW100 engine components and other engine components. In addition to the PW100, which powers turboprop commuters and other aircraft, the agreement covers the CF34 turbofan and PW901 auxiliary power unit (APU).
The $22 million, five-year contract covers services on up to 250 engines and APUs each year. Work will be performed at Chromalloy facilities in the U.S., U.K., France and Holland. The agreement covers hot section vanes, stators, combustion liners, cases and exhaust hardware.
