Hawaiian Airlines and Mechanics Union reach tentative agreement

Hawaiian Airlines announced a tentative agreement has been reached with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, District 142 on a four-year contract offering increased compensation for members and operational improvements for the company. The tentative agreement covers 600 of Hawaiian’s employees working as aircraft inspectors, mechanics, line service, cleaners, and contract service personnel. Union members are expected to vote on the new contract in the coming weeks.
