Aviall receives exclusive lifetime contract from Rolls-Royce

Aviall Services has entered into an exclusive worldwide aftermarket distribution agreement with Rolls-Royce for unique spare parts of the RB211-524 aircraft engines. Aviall will assume these spare part distribution responsibilities to RB211-524 customers in the fourth quarter of 2010. The agreement extends for the life of the engine. The RB211-524 engines power the Boeing 747 and 767 and Lockheed L1011. More than 190 RB211-524 powered aircraft are in service today and currently accumulate more than 2.3 million flight hours each year.
