First FIPS-equipped AW139 delivered to London Air Services

AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, announced that the first AW139 medium twin helicopter equipped with the Full Ice Protection System (FIPS) has been delivered to London Air Services (LAS) of Canada. The delivery of this aircraft follows the recent award of TCAA Certification for the FIPS system, with EASA and FAA Certification already achieved. The AW139 is the first helicopter in its weight category to receive FIPS Certification.
