Transat A.T. signs lease agreement for two Airbus A330s

As part of its previously announced Air Transat fleet renewal program, Transat A.T. announced the signing of an agreement with CIT Aerospace International for the long-term leasing of two Airbus A330 wide-body jets. Air Transat’s fleet currently includes 13 Airbus A310s, which will be gradually withdrawn from service, and Airbus A330s. Five of the latter are currently in use, three more will be in operation by the end of this year and another in 2011, bringing the total of A330s to nine.
