Eurotech subsidiary Parvus announced that its DuraCOR 820 mission computer and DuraMAR 3230 network router subsystems are to be deployed as part of a satellite and communications upgrade for the Boeing 737 Business Jet. Initial units were purchased by Boeing Company subcontractor ARINC Engineering Services, and will be delivered during Q1 2011.
To fulfill the contract, Parvus is providing the units via the Parts Manufacturer Approval Procedure (PMA) Order 8110.42C as specified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The PMA clears the DuraCOR 820 computer and DuraMAR 3230 router for use on any Boeing 737 platform. A favorable audit of Parvus’ AS9100 aerospace quality certified manufacturing and MIL-STD system qualification documents support the PMA acceptance for civil aviation use.
