SkyWest reported operating revenues of $796.3 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, compared to $604.4 million for the same period last year. SkyWest also reported net income of $37.2 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, compared to $19.5 million of net income for the same period last year. The results for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, includes $10.2 million in net earnings of unusual items when compared to the results for the same period last year.
SkyWest also reported operating revenues of $2.77 billion for the twelve months ended December 31, 2010, compared to $2.61 billion for the same period last year. SkyWest reported net income of $96.4 million for the twelve months ended December 31, 2010, compared to $83.7 million for the same period last year. The net income for the twelve months ended December 31, 2010, includes $10.2 million in net earnings of unusual items when compared to the results for the same period last year.
The operating results reported above include the operating and financial results from the acquisition of ExpressJet from November 12, 2010 to December 31, 2010, or 50 days.
