Rolls-Royce wins Trent 900 contract from Asiana Airlines

Rolls-Royce has won a contract for Trent 900 engines to power six Airbus A380 aircraft from Asiana Airlines. The order includes a TotalCare long-term service agreement. Asiana Airlines, based in Seoul, South Korea, will take delivery of these aircraft in 2014, marking its first Rolls-Royce powered aircraft to enter service. Asiana Airlines has previously ordered Trent XWB engines for 30 firm and 10 option A350 XWB aircraft.
