Cambridge Airport has won a contract to provide Air Traffic Control Training for personnel to operate at three airports in Oman located at Marmul, Fahud and Qarn Alam. The service is being delivered through its strategic partnership with Aerospace Resources Limited and Silver Falcon in Oman. This is the first ATC Training contract from a Middle East customer for Cambridge Airport, whose current clients include UK airports, such as Shoreham and Blackpool International. The airport has chosen to capitalise on its expertise operating as a UK CAA Category 7 airport with full ATC cover to become an industry leader in providing outsourced training in a range of Airport Services, which also encompass Rescue and Fire Fighting, Airport Aviation Security, Air Traffic Engineering and Pilot Training.
