AFI KLM E&M first MRO to receive FRA145 military approval

Alain Bassil, Air France EVP Operations, was presented with the first FRA145 certification from the Chief of Staff of the French Air Force, General Jean-Paul Palomeros. Air France applied for FRA 145 approval governing military aircraft maintenance in the spring of 2010. The facilities that would be used in military activities were audited in November 2010 and January 2011 by the DSAE State Air Safety Department, the French Air force, and the DGA State Defense Procurement Agency. The audit was successfully achieved and the Ministry of Defense awarded accordingly Air France Industries with its very first FRA 145 approval.
