Lufthansa Technik supports Sky Regional Airlines

Sky Regional Airlines entrusts their component supply for the next ten years to Lufthansa Technik. The companies signed a Total Component Support TCS agreement for the fleet of five Q400 aircraft. The start-up carrier is Lufthansa Technik’s first Q400-customer in North America. Lufthansa Technik has installed a home base pool in Montreal. More than 110 Line Replaceable Units (LRU) – ranging from hydraulic pumps up to generators – will be in storage for a smooth operation. The components will be overhauled at Lufthansa Technik sites in Sun Valley, USA and Hamburg, Germany. Sky Regional Airlines starts operation on 1 May 2011 flying Montreal – Toronto – Montreal. The start-up carrier is based in Montreal, Canada, and operates five Q400-aircraft.
