US Airways reports first quarter net loss of $110 million

US Airways reported a net loss excluding special items for the first quarter 2011 of $110 million. This compares to the first quarter 2010 net loss excluding special items of $89 million. On a GAAP basis, the Company reported a net loss for the first quarter 2011 of $114 million, this compares to the first quarter 2010 net loss of $45 million.
