Air Astana becomes new E-Jet operator and Jetscape customer

Jetscape announced the acquisition of a new Embraer E190-100LR aircraft delivered on lease to Air Astana, Almaty, Kazakhstan on May 6, 2011. This follows the delivery by Jetscape of another new E190-100LR to Air Astana on April 20, 2011. Both aircraft have been leased to Air Astana on eight-year terms. These are the first E190 aircraft to be operated by Air Astana and are the first E-jets to be operated in the CIS.
