Pentagon 2000 Software releases Kanban feature

Pentagon 2000 Software announced the release of its new Kanban module for supply chain management. The Kanban technique was developed long ago in Japan as a multiple bin replenishment system to allow a demand-driven manufacturing process to pull materials through the supply chain using cards to trigger resupply of the bins. Pentagon 2000SQL software employs a modern electronic version of this classic technique that allows customers to fully automate and optimize the supply chain planning and execution process. The Pentagon 2000SQL Kanban module is a powerful tool that supports deployment of value added services such as Direct Line Feed (DLF), Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and Consignment programs. The Kanban module is fully integrated with the existing Contract Manager, Consignment Manager, KitMaster, Speed Ship and Reporting features.
