Constant Aviation completed the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Aircell’s Cabin Wireless Access Point (CWAP), which provides in-cabin Wi-Fi service for Gogo Biz Inflight Internet, in an EMB135 corporate shuttle. The completion of this STC marks the first ever Gogo Biz installation in an EMB135 corporate shuttle as well as the first ever CWAP system installed in a corporate aircraft.
In addition to the EMB135 corporate shuttle, Constant Aviation has completed the Inflight Internet STC on the Gulfstream IV and the Embraer 600 aircraft. Constant has five additional STC’s on the Citation X, Beechjet 400A, Hawker 800A/XP, Phenom 300, and 737 Business Jet in the final stages of approval with the FAA and has installed the system on over twenty aircraft.
