Eurocopter will supply a fourth EC225 to Blueway, providing additional airlift capacity as this European helicopter operator expands its North Sea oil and gas market services. Among the duties for the 11-ton-class helicopter will be offshore transportation and logistics flights covered in Blueway’s North Sea services contract with Maersk Oil, which broadens the company’s presence in this important marketplace.
To support Blueway in its bid for these services, Eurocopter assisted the company by ensuring a timely helicopter delivery slot and adapting commercial conditions to best meet the customer’s needs. Additionally, Eurocopter will help identify business opportunities for the smaller EC155 B1 helicopters that also are in Blueway’s fleet.
