Hamburger EmissionsHaus GmbH & Cie. KG (HEH) has successfully arranged financing for the purchase of 11 Bombardier Q400 Dash 8 turbo-prop Aircraft from Bombardier, which were originally ordered by UK regional operator Flybe. Debt financing and equity participation was successfully arranged jointly between Hamburger EmissionsHaus GmbH & Cie. KG of Hamburg, Germany and Airfund Corporation of the US. The Aircraft were subsequently leased to Flybe under an operating agreement for an initial term of 10 years with an option to extend for 2 years. The Aircraft are to be technically managed by Geneva based Fintech Aviation Services.
Further cooperation on financing and technical management for a number of Regional jets for delivery within 2011 has been agreed by the parties at Le Bourget.
