Kansas City, MO based commercial aircraft supplier Jet Midwest has recently opened the largest commercial aircraft paint facility in North America at the former American Airlines maintenance facility in Kansas City, MO. The Jet Midwest Technik 1,200,000 square feet paint facility can accommodate aircraft as large as the new Boeing 747-800 and has already secured a number of paint contracts with airlines from the US and around the world. The new facilities include over 1,200,000 square feet of hangar, shop and office space and over 64 acres of aircraft ramp parking.
Jet Midwest was founded in 1997 as a commercial aircraft parts supplier and has grown to include a number of related companies including aircraft and engine trading and MRO services under the Jet Midwest Technik brand. Jet Midwest has bought and sold over 250 aircraft.
