Boeing Fort Walton Beach facility earns AS9100 certification

Boeing’s Fort Walton Beach facility has earned AS9100 certification following an audit by outside firm Det Norske Veritas. The company achieved back-to-back zero findings/observations — 100% scores — in a periodic review completed in August 2010 and for recertification in February of this year. AS9100 certification asserts that a company adheres to internationally accepted quality, safety and technology standards.
