US Airways announces $53 million aircraft financing

US Airways reported its intention to make an offering, subject to market and other conditions, of Class C enhanced equipment trust certificates (the “Certificates”) in the aggregate principal amount of approximately $53 million. This offering is an additional issuance from the Company’s Series 2010-1 series of enhanced equipment trust certificates which originally closed on December 21, 2010, with an offering of Class A certificates and Class B certificates. The Company intends to use the proceeds from this offering for general corporate purposes. The $53 million financing will consist of Class C certificates with a final expected distribution date of October 22, 2014.
