Jet Aviation St. Louis earns WiFi STC for Learjet 40 and 45 aircraft

Jet Aviation St. Louis has developed a WiFi STC for Learjet 40 and 45 series aircraft and plans to adapt the STC to other aircraft including the Challenger 300 and 605, Global and Gulfstream V. Jet Aviation St. Louis developed the STC at the request of a fleet operator of Learjet 45 aircraft. The STC creates a certified WIFI hotspot in the cabin using Aircell’s Gogo Biz and Swift Broadband technology, either in combination or standalone, offering clients complete internet access in their aircraft. WiFi coverage is now available for domestic and international operations, providing internet functionality in the aircraft just like the internet in a client’s home or office.
