US Airways reported a net profit excluding special items for the second quarter 2011 of $106 million. This compares to the second quarter 2010 net profit excluding special items of $265 million. On a GAAP basis, the Company reported a net profit for the second quarter 2011 of $92 million. This compares to the second quarter 2010 net profit of $279 million.
