Baltic Aviation Academy approved by Israel Civil Aviation Authority

The Israel Civil Aviation Authority has issued to the Baltic Aviation Academy (Lithuania) an approval certificate to operate the type rating trainings for Boeing 737 aircraft. Aviation training centre became the first approved type rating training organization (TRTO) in the Baltic region to start trainings for Israel airlines and private pilots. The first Baltic Aviation Academy client from Israel was Lead Air, a new charter airline flying to destinations around Europe. In July 2011 Lead Air pilots started their initial Boeing 737 CL trainings: theory training lessons were carried out in Tel Aviv, Israel, and Boeing 737 flight sessions were held in Vilnius, Lithuania.
