StandardAero signs service agreement with Russian regional carrier, Ak Bars Aero

StandardAero has signed a service agreement with Russian regional carrier, Ak Bars Aero, for the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of the fleet’s General Electric CF34-3B1 engines and Honeywell GTCP36-150RJ Auxiliary Power Units (APUs). The engines and APUs power Ak Bars Aero’s fleet of CRJ200 aircraft. The agreement was signed in July with all engine work being performed at StandardAero’s CF34 engine facility in Winnipeg, Canada, and APU MRO being conducted at the company’s Maryville, Tenn., location.
