Southwest Airlines reports August traffic

Southwest Airlines reported August 2011 combined traffic results for Southwest Airlines and AirTran. Combined traffic in August 2011 increassed 3.9% compared to the same period in 2010, while capacity increased 4.2%. The load factor for August 2011 was 82.6%, compared to the combined load factor of 82.8%  in August 2010.
