Saab AB has signed a new three-year PEP (Parts Exchange Program) agreement with Scottish Loganair, which flies the Saab 340. Loganair has 16 Saab 340 aircraft and the new agreement encompasses component repairs and maintenance service within the PEP framework at the Aircraft Services division in the Support and Services business area. PEP, Parts Exchange Program, is referred to as a power-by-hour program. This entails that the customers – based on how much they utilise the aircraft – pay for access to spare parts to replace faulty units. Saab ensures that the faulty units are repaired or examined and restores them to flight-worthy condition for use under the PEP agreement.
