Additional certification high altitude trails of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 completed

The Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft successfully went through additional certification trials on expanding operational conditions at the high altitude airports. Trials involved SSJ100 flight prototype MSN95004 and took place in the airport of Toluca, Mexico, from 14 to 30 September 2011. The airport is located at the altitude of 2,580 meters over the sea level. The aircraft came back to airfield of Zhukovsky, Moscow Region, Russia, on October 10, 2011. Extensive ground and flight tests proved the proper functioning of the aircraft systems, equipment, engines and APU and confirmed declared takeoff and landing aircraft performances.
