Astraeus Airlines ceased operations

Astraeus Airlines based in Crawley, Sussex, announced it had ceased operations. Chief Executive Hugh Parry  said that lower than expected business during the summer and bad luck with a number of technical issues contributed to the company’s decline. The board has made an application to the High Court for the appointment of administrators.
