Luis Gallego has been appointed CEO of new Iberia Express

Luis Gallego, chief operating officer at Vueling, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Iberia’s new subsidiary airline, Iberia Express, which will start operations at the end of March 2012. Gallego became Chief Operating Officer of Vueling in 2009, when the airline merged with clickair. At Vueling, Gallego was responsible for flight operations, training, quality and safety, maintenance and ground handling operations with a fleet of 47 aircraft and more than 1600 employees.
