AWAS announces purchase and leaseback of four Airbus A320 aircraft to IndiGo

AWAS has entered into an agreement with IndiGo, India’s largest low cost airline, to purchase and leaseback four Airbus A320 passenger aircraft that the airline had previously ordered from the manufacturer.  These aircraft will be delivered in the first half of 2012. AWAS has mandated KfW IPEX-Bank as arranger and sole lender to finance two of the four Airbus A320-200 aircraft.
