AAR has received design approvals from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), China’s airworthiness authority, to perform custom interior modifications for Boeing 757-200 aircraft operated by Xiamen Airlines. AAR’s design will modify the 757-200 aircraft into a three-class configuration by installing VIP first-class sections with lie-flat seats in the forward cabins, as well as business class seats. The cabin also will be modified to accommodate three classes.
