Hamilton Sundstrand signs up with AFI KLM E&M for 787 component services

Hamilton Sundstrand, a key supplier of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner program, and Air France Industries KLM Engineering and Maintenance have signed a long-term repair license agreement for providing MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) services for Hamilton Sundstrand’s components on the Boeing 787. This relationship allows AFI KLM’s engineering and maintenance division to expand its nose-to-tail service by including Hamilton Sundstrand components to Boeing 787 customers in its portfolio. This includes latest technologies like electrically generated systems and liquid cooling components. AFI KLM E&M and Hamilton Sundstrand are already cooperating on repair services and on-site-support for components and projects for other aircraft.
