JetBlue names Mark Powers CFO

JetBlue Airways (JBLU) announced the appointment of Mark Powers to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Powers has served as CFO on an interim basis since October 2011. Prior to joining JetBlue in 2006 as Vice President-Finance and Treasurer, Mr. Powers was an independent advisor to several aviation-related companies and has held a number of positions in both the finance and legal departments of Continental Airlines, Northwest Airlines and GE’s jet engine unit.
