Avioserv continues investing in Component Control to manage global Aviation Business

Component Control released that long-term customer Avioserv San Diego, a global provider of aftermarket aircraft engine parts and lease engines, continues to grow its state-of-the-art IT infrastructure by moving to Quantum’s Max-Q Oracle database. Since 2004, Avioserv has leveraged the Quantum Control software to manage its high-volume parts, sales and leasing business. Avioserv was also an important collaborator in the development of Component Control’s first-generation leasing module. Avioserv has more than 40,000 sft² of warehouse in San Diego, CA, and manages more than 63,000 line items of engine parts. “We’ve seen the use of Quantum explode over the years so that it is now viewed as the industry standard,” comments Jennifer Bowman, Executive Vice President of Finance at Avioserv. “Since the majority of our trading partners are using the same software it’s become easier to do business with the supply chain and our customers because of the accuracy of engine and parts data and overall gain in efficiencies.”
