SCAC and Aviastar-SP develop cooperation for Sukhoi Superjet 100 Program

In order to accelerate the process of the final assembly of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCAC) and Aviastar-SP, a United Aircraft Corporation production facility based in Ulyanovsk, concluded a cooperation agreement on interior installation. On May 4th, the SSJ100 production aircraft (MSN 95017) to be delivered to Aeroflot, arrived in Ulyanovsk from Komsomolsk-on-the Amur for the first interior installation at the Aviastar premises, followed by the painting of the aircraft at the Spektr-Avia facility. Aviastar-SP has allocated a dedicated workspace in a hangar to conduct interior installations on 4 SSJ100 simultaneously by a team of specialists, trained and qualified by SCAC.
